John Pershing /ˌdʒɒn ˈpɜːʃɪŋ/ /ˌdʒɑːn ˈpɜːrʃɪŋ/ - (1860-1948) the army officer who commanded the US Expeditionary Force in France in the First World War. General Pershing's popular name was 'Black Jack' because of his tough discipline. He had earlier served in the Indian wars and the Spanish-American War. He received the Pulitzer Prize for his book My Experiences in the World War (1931). The US nuclear weapon called the Pershing missile is named after him.约翰·潘兴（John Pershing）：( 1860-1948年），是一战期间在法国指挥美国远征军的陆军军官。潘兴将军的通俗名字是“黑杰克”，因为他纪律严明。他曾在印度战争和美西战争中服役。他的著作《我在世界大战中的经历》（1931年）获得了普利策奖。以他命名的美国核武器称为潘兴导弹。
